Wow this painting is truly extraordinary. I love the vibrant colours. I just returned from Italy and took an intensive art course with a slovenian artist. One of her works is similiar to this (although less detailed than yours) and she sells them for between $4,000 – $8,000 euros. (ie 8 -16 thousand aussie dollars!) Great work.
thanks so much Sooz yes my husband says I should have a higher price on mine but I love painting more than money so happy to just about give them away as long as I can cover the cost of framing! does this artist have any www I can see her works?
Sure .. it’s: http://www.tjasairis.com/ I am yet to write about the course as I am still getting my head around it lol. Lugging easel, canvas, stool, paints etc up 120 stone steps on the side of a mountain was pretty tough but in a twisted way – fun too.
ooh thanks Sooz! I have saved it to look at later when I get lots of time. I painted this canvas red and just worked up a pic. I have done a few like that, also colbalt [in acrylic then oil over fun, saves a lot of background]
