This is a very appealing landscape… lush and vibrant… nice freedom in the use of color on the plant stalks in the foreground and that terrific blue you used on the mountains… Yes, you do like bright colors!

Great work ! So much detail.
Virginia McGowan replied
thanks again James… I didn’t think I do detail …maybe I am used to seeing my paintings in real life.Lots of people here say the same so I must … I thought I did sort of just impressions … Not sure how to explain …
reflector
The brush strokes are like impressionist. But when you “pull back ” and look at the whole vista at once, it looks very detailed that way.
Virginia McGowan replied
thanks . [ U working night shift too! ]

Just so beautiful Ginny. I only just found this when checking out the ‘mountain’ challenge. It looks as though the ‘artists’ didn’t do too well against the ‘photographers’ and to my way of thinking this one should definitely have made the Top 10!!!!
