Begining of life

Pastel Painting a gum tree in our yard with a strangler fig just starting to grow, it’s been 5 years to get to this stage, so I will have to wait about one hundred for it to be full size.

Hi James I hadn’t looked at this for ages [year]?? and realized the fig has grown a lot since I did this I take photos of it every so often it’s not easy as it had it’s back to the light I must check out setting on the camera ,one reason why drawing/ paintings better to record things.see so much more. I also forgot I use to use diagonal brushstrokes most of the time a few years back, these days I tend to blend….
