Mmmmm….gorgeous orange aren’t they ginny? We had several varieties of these growing in the garden last summer…from a dark blood red called ‘Empress of India’...to this neon orange and an apricot with painted markings. Just before dusk the colour seems to glow in the garden. Great capture ~ Anni :)
Virginia McGowan replied

The other possibility is that you physically turned the camera from a landscape / normal and wide frame-up orientation, to a portrait / long frame-up. So it’s been downloaded to your PC like that because that’s how you took the photo. I rarely turn the camera to a portrait orientation now – it’s unnatural / awkward, and too hard to keep steady for a hand held shot.
Virginia McGowan replied
well I assumed that’s what I did , I used portrait a lot and turn on the pc ,but never happened before with Microsoft .. it does turn automatic with some cameras . anyway all sorted! except for cards .. atm not able to do any pc…

The colours in this remind me of one of your paintings. Have you painted it?
