Stunning! It’s so refreshing to see a painting, and a pastel one at that. Your use of colour and texture has captured the Australian landscape beautifully!

This is a wonderful pasten painting, ginnymac! Beautiful, rich colours and lovely, uncluttered composition.
Virginia McGowan replied
hi Elaine thanks sooooo much for you beaut comment, I didn’t realize you are from Ringwood, the Green hoods /granny-bonnets I mentioned used to be near the crossroads of Caterbury Road and Wantirna. when I lived there, there was only bush, Caterbury road ws very narrow and only a few houses set back onto large properties. Heathmont was rife with Spder orchids etc. we used to go and pick bunches in the bush….

Oops, that should be “pastel painting”................I’m typing to quickly!
