Mt.Warning in Springtime
Mt Warning is part of an mountain range that used to be extinct volcanos. Captain Cook named it as he could see it far out to sea.It rises way above the surrounding flatlands which there are many sugarcan fields. It’s about 1 hour drive from where I live. and it must be the most painted landscape in this area.

oh geee thanks Rachel, think I had more ‘just want to do it feeling [and I wanted something for my walls as I couldn’t afford to buy !! , ha if I only knew how much paint costs!! LOL much dearer than buying a ready made painting … so many people have much more talent it’s always been a huge effort,

Love this classic composition with colours that sing. White frame perhaps? Apparently Monet and co insisted on them, and this one has that look about it.

thanks Damian,If I framed it [or my framer ]he uses white inserts and gold frames usually and he runs the largest gallery around here for 30 odd years and a 60 years in the business of art dealing too ….very experienced , He loves it when I let him choose! atm can’t afford any at all . wow I painted this to put in the Border Art Prize at Murwillumbah a couple of years ago, didn’t expect to win of course! a lawn mower made of ‘grassy stuff woven won’ I usually enter but couldn’t be botherd last year driving the distance to deliver. this year it weill be at Surfers.Hope Redbubble hear about me luring people in!! LOL,,how fabulous!
