Lovely work:)
Virginia McGowan replied
thanks Jo this is one of many pics I did when I was really ill and trying to get back to some paintings. It’s my first box of pastels I bought at an exhibition of the impressionists they brought to Australia.Actually I had a box in ealy 1980 but I had a lot of time in between when I wasn’t able to do any painting [painted clothing instead but that was WORK !!!!!! so this, and a few little bits here somewhere ]is what I got started on again. Rembrant pastels but I prefer Schimke now.
