    thanks very much everbody.
    JV I used to go out with a group of art friends every Friday morning, and meet sometimes in a studio where we di life drawing but once or twice a month we would go out, this is one spot where ther is so much to paint from, very populare too for photos’ and picknics. Lots of ducks[messy] for the kids to feed. Botanical gardens, it’s also set deep into heavy rainforest and used to be a volcano the whole area is a huge caldera, extinct for millions of years. Ihat doing things from photo’s as I get muddled. I do take lots of pic too but find I have to check up in ‘real life’ so much.

    sorry NV arrgg not JV no recall here! It’s not far from where I live, about an half hour drive,but up a really awfully steep mountain road, coming back down is worse.

    thanks BlueKnot I did this sittting right on the spot, it’s a lovely place, it is very colourful here in Qld.when we first came here to live,40 years ago, the first thing we did was to find a shop, and bought some sunglasses, and that was in the middle of winter.
