Magnificent, love the dark edges to the clouds, menacing.

  • Virginia McGowan replied

thanks piclex five minutes later we were drowned in mud, so thick we couldn’t see through the windscreen because the dust hit with extreme force then the rain,at least that washed the mess the kangaroos caused when we had hit them

the people out there said the twisters were getting larger each year due I think to the drought, they are really huge willy willy’s I guess same thing the dust that hit the car completely engulfed up , no way we could see the bonnet even

I love how you’ve been so bold with the colours here Ginny. You have really captured the ‘feel’ of Australia. I really admire your style, What a talented little possum you are!

  • Virginia McGowan replied

Thanks Lynda. nice of you to say …We drove through this ….... I got one pic through the windscreen, and then it hit us. I had the window up and not only got drenched, but got a whole lot of tumble weeds type grass in too .It hit so fast and in a panic ,I forgot the window wasn’t a wind up but a button on the center console .
