thanks Irene , I thinkk the paper has lots to do with how my watercolours turn out, so i have just got another sheet of this one to try another …. LOL 1 sheet! I used to use Bockingford a lot but people here don’t stock it, and I just don’t like Arches…

Oh Gloria ,Victoria Point is fabulous! lots of inspiration around thee. I am putting this into the Ekka ,I don’t enter the Watercolour section usually as the standard is incredibly, hoping the flu doesn’t take over though and there’ll be an Ekka!

I feel isolated Ginny, we have to hook up the t.v. and then get the time to look at the news. Have just got the internet on. Yes, the Ekka is the place to catch anything. I miss the icecreams with the strawberries, although they don’t put as many strawberries in now.

yes agree! it used to only take me a few minutes walk once…..I suppose a half hour drive now[depends on traffic] but not as much fun….

Yes!! fabulous view from here I love Cook Island and Fingal lighthouse too, which is just on the horizon.

Yes Captain Cooks ,I haven’t been there now for years ,I did this painting a while back, must go for a drive and make sure it’s still there!

Thanks Rosalie yes it’s a beauty .Captain cook must have really enjoyed his trip ….I mean Hawaii etc [only took him a couple of years ]....and the coast of Australia! and we think 24 hours on a plane is tough!!
