Queen Mary Falls

Main Range National Park
Main Range, an arc of rugged peaks and ridges, is the crucial western link in south-east Queensland’s remarkable Scenic Rim. Crossed by the Cunningham Highway, this park in a World Heritage area, offers an impressive waterfall, challenging hikes and easy rainforest walks with wonderful views.
At Cunningham’s Gap picnic area, try the Rainforest circuit or stroll to Fassifern Valley lookout (both short walks). Zigzag up Mount Cordeaux (lyrebirds and scarlet-flowered giant spear lilies) or Mount Mitchell (sheer cliff face) for terrific views. Enjoy a picnic at Queen Mary Falls, which plunge 40 metres. From Spicer’s Gap camping area, walk the bullock-dray trail and camp near pioneer graves. (Take a fuel stove.) Experienced walkers can hike for several days along the Scenic Rim.
Queen Mary Falls belongs to the following groups:
Queensland, Realist Traditional Art and Rivers and StreamsAvailable for sale as Cards, Matted Prints, Laminated Prints, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints and Framed Prints

ooh it’s gorgeous isn’t it? I found it freezing at the bottom! last time we went we had to leave the dog in the car, so had to hurry back. No dog now, so there’s be more time.

[larger sizes ] this one is done on board, sometimes I think it’s easier, and easy to pop in and out of a frame too.
