this is one of the most relaxing beaches in South East Qld. to sit an have a quite Sunday. I really am passionate about this particular spot and I love to paint from here.

    Simply gorgeous, Ginny. I only ever went there once, about 34 years ago…took an age to get there, and when we arrived the air was full of sand midges…not the best experience….But this image is so tranquil. You have such a fantastic way with colour…awesome, girl :-)

    Thanks Chris so nice of you to take time at this sad moment to comment. I loathe those midges, but thankfully haven’t struck any there.I usually go there once a year, just for the day. We went there when the bridge was a toll and couldn’t afford to pay so turned back again ! Must have been around 1961 ?? Probable only a a few cents too.

    the Island is gorgeous enivea, I love sitting on the beach just at this spot.It’s a couple of hours drive though.

    I have family that live in Bribie. They call driving over the bridge to the Island as “The Bribie Sigh” because it is so tranquil and beautiful. You have really captured that feeling. Beautiful work.

    oooh yes I feel like that too ! the drive into isn’t all that much fun! but oh I love all the Island. [fish and chips are good too, at the boat harbour]

    Very special, captures the brightness of a Queensland sunny day but still cool and relaxing to view. Wonderful use of colour, form, perspective, everything really, very nice!!
