The white on white is the flower it plays with the eyes and makes one wonder. It was so beautifully marked that it looked liked it smiled

Jennifer, I think that it’s the white on white that actually makes this shot. If it were me, I might have centered the orchid in the crop to lose the horizontal dark line in the upper right as this doesn’t contribute to the composition and distracts attention from the orchid. The color balance is stunning, and although there’s a lot of white, you’ve managed to get an exposure that maintains detail while keeping that lovely creamy texture. Wonderful detail as well, and your depth of field/focusing is spot on. Great shot!
