Bleeding Freedom

Bleeding Freedom

The world asks too much of me.

I’d rather be just perfectly free.

How to get there, feel that freedom?

One way, don’t follow but lead ‘em.

Yes, lead ‘em down the pathways;

Promise them all much better days.

Right around the corner, come with me!

Follow me, I will lead you to freedom, see?

I will be free but is freedom for you too?

No, I don’t think so, I’m a leader but not you.

There can only be me as a freedom leader.

The price, you see, will be you, as a bleeder.

    While reading the bubblemail you sent me and your email, I couldn’t figure out what you were talking about … “my poems”. I had forgotten these were on here! No, PLEASE … it’s definitely YOU who is the poet, not me. Poems are always in you just begging to be written. With me, it’s just a passing thing. I might not write another for a few years. I’d rather paint anyway. Please don’t break up our partnership, o.k.? I think we are sooooooo good together, me painting and you writing poems. Some day, we’ll be famous together! Hugs, xxx
