Young Burrowing Owl

Found this young Owl in the grass waiting for his mom and trying to hide at the same time, thes small owlas are protected species here in Cape Coral Florida they live in burrows in the ground if they have a home on your lot if you are not allowed to disturb them, when they leave you have to wait a certain amount of time before you can build because the mating couple usually comes back to have their young, this is one of the young there are five to this brood.
