william's room by

this was one of the first murals i ever painted and got the commission by chance. i researched 16th to 18th century maps and used many resources to find images that represent the countries and continents, the mural spans four walls and the entire ceiling, i trailed the map off around the bottom with a trompe l’oiel scrolled paper effect. the project took me about 4 weeks in all to finish have since gained many mural commissions on the back of it to built up a complete portfolio.

  • thanks, yeah it’s a great space to be in, the little boy i created this for is going to be going to university soon, but he still loves his room at home!!
