Gillienne Castillo

I grew up in a military family and moved around a lot. I live in Oklahoma City now, where I work as a nurse. I have been drawing for as long as I can remember and painting since I was 18. I like to draw women and include nature, I prefer to draw but if I paint on canvas I use acrylics. My art pieces on wood usually include different media such as ink and charcoal. I am self taught and try to work on my art here and there between work and 5 kids and my boyfriend.
I like to experiment and go through sketchbooks like toilet paper. Most of them are full of crappy half drawn pictures but every once in a while I get something good.
