    mmmhhh…peace…may be ‘temporaneo armistizio’!

  • Gili Orr replied

;-) That fits maybe better, but i needed to place works titled “peace” for one group, and this, at least with the question mark, seemed OK.

Wow I’ve never seen a rabbit that is entirely black before. Aww such a cute image!

  • Gili Orr replied

I googled the colors of rabbit, since you made me curious… there are sooo many colors! and well, black stood almost on top of the list;-) (because it’s an alphabetical list….)
    Thanks, Mui-Ling!!

Aww, so cute. Someone gave me a New Zealand Black Bunny Rabbit (obviously not the official name. lol) when I was in college. Another friend gave me a duckling at the same time. So I had a white duck and black rabbit who grew up together. They were treasures. This is a beautiful image of a rarity (for most of us).

  • Gili Orr replied

Interesting combination, a rabbit and a duck… did they become friends? The two in the photo are just checking each other. I wasn’t sure it would stay peaceful, but it did;-)

They were friends, although not as close as, say, a dog and cat can be (my dog and cat were very close). I’d take them on long walks, through the campus and out to the fields where they could play. The duck mainly just wanted to follow me, but the bunny (whom I carried until we got to the fields) would run out, until he saw, I suppose, that it might never end. He would get way out there, stop in his tracks, take a long look, then turn around and run back as fast as he could. I imagine that probably most baby animals that grow up together can remain friends for a long time.

Yes, I imagine the cat could have done some damage. Rabbits are pretty helpless, except for their feet.
