Gorgeous shot – the flower looks like it is made of ice with ice droplets on it. Great macro.

Thanks Clarkey! I have just joined, and your comment is a heartwarming welcome greeting… Just peeked at your photos, and by your beautiful “Rose in glass”, as well as some of the groups you joined, I see what we may have in common… thanks again, Gili.

You’re more than welcome, Gili. On behalf of the RB community, “Welcome”. I’m sure you’ll enjoy your membership here, it’s a very addictive place to be. Thanks for adding me to your Watchlist – I appreciate it very much.

Photography is my hobby, but, flowers, roses in particular, are my passion. I’m happy to meet with a similar commonality.

This is a stunning capture. Do you know what this type of flower is called pls? We used to have them in our townhouse garden here in Adelaide, Australia, but we’ve since moved. Well done.

  • Gili Orr replied

Thanks a lot, Elana! No, I don’t know what flower it is… I should have taken photos of the plates they had all around in zoos and gardens we visited, but never really thought of it till I started getting involved in RB… a pity.
