Discarded Dungeness, Kent by

There are many abandoned, decaying fishing boats beached at Dungeness in Kent, England. Dungeness is a one of the largest shingle beach headlands in the world. The site is of significant ecological importance. Adding to the other worldly atmosphere is a nuclear power station and a scattering of dwellings.

Great shot, wonderful pov and contrasting light!! I visited Dungeness a couple of years ago, what an amazing landscape!

  • Thanks, Shaun. I agree, it’s a great place to shoot. I only had an afternoon there, so was pleased to end up with a couple of keepers.
