Very, very nice Gilberte.
Thank you very very much Sharon
Absolutely Superb Gilberte.
Thank you for your nice comment John
Absolutely knock down gorgeous with quality oozing from every pixel!!!!!Stunning light, exposure, depth of field and focus render wonderful clear, clean, crisp detail.(I do feel though that you should clone out the end of the rose stem as it leads the eye out of the frame). The items are all in pristine condition and work very well together in making this display a fantastic photograph.
Thanks very much Dennis for your elaborate and flattering comment.I upload a second one without the stem.Hope your eye will stay in the frame lol lol
Stunning work Gilberte. You are the queen of still life.

WOW, Gilberte. Your still shot is simply marvelous as always. I am in awe of your talent. You must write a tutorial for us. I love it. XXOO
Thank you so much Sue.A tutorial? lolI use the top of my bookcase which is in dark oak and situated near a window facing north.I use only the daylight. There’s a shutter at the window which I let down when there’s too much light. The fabric I used for my “Crystal” shot was still hanging there and gave some shadow.I used a tripod and took plenty of photos always changing the setting by one point. And that’s all. It’s playing with light. The background is my wall.I can put a cardboard light or dark.
I do love this.So beautiful!
Thank you Geir…glad you love it
