There’s something beautiful about a framed image hanging serenely on a wall. We’re extremely proud of our sustainably sourced frames and believe there’s really no better way to enhance a stunning photograph. We’re pleased as punch to say they’ve adorned galleries and homes from London to Los Angeles.
Art comes in many shapes and sizes, and our framed prints are built to fit each of them. The final dimensions will depend on the image you choose, but to give you an idea here are the most common photographic sizes:
Usual presents that were given at a birth.Colour for a girl was blue.
beaker, birthcard, dpfstilllife, egg cup, fork, gilberte, spoon, sugarbowl, sugarcoated almonds
Four years secretarial work.Retired.Love digital photography, digital painting and tee-shirts
Beautiful composition and lighting Gilberte. Funny, in the US blue colors are for a boy and pink are for a girl.
Thanks Marvin..I have always found very strange that blue was for a girl but it’s the custom here or was for I have already seen everything was yellow. It can be nice if you have a very dark baby but if it’s a blond with very pale skin, yellow is not flattering.I WAS dark haired, dark eyes which turned green now.Strange!
Weer zo’n mooie stilleven!
Oh this is truly wonderful..Well done..Miss P xxxx
Hi Maggie..glad you like it..I am doing these stilllives for the contest in our group. As the weather is bad here, I do not have to go out
Beautiful still life…& great info here. Well done.
Thank you Bot..if we explain a bit, we get to know about the uses all over the world. But uses change. When you look carefully at the sugar-almonds there are, besides blue ones, also pale green, white and pale yellow ones. The taste is the same!! Now I am eating sugar-almonds.We call them “des dragées” in French.
Another beautiful still life.. You are so good at these.. Now Blue is for the boy here and pink for the girl… For the what is it ? yellow…lol
Thank you Carol….it’s for the Canary peet
What a terrific image!! This just makes you really stop in order to take it all in. I too find it odd that blue is for girls. I just love the over all look / feel of this image.
Hello Jamaboop..thank you for the “terrific image” with the odd blue colour! We must be odd people doing things differently.Do you know we are the only ones to use an azerty keyboard?
You really know how to throw a party, Gilberte! I love these pieces. Are they antique? They look like they could have been at King Authur’s table during the Middle Ages.
Hi Judi..it’s so good starting the day laughing..that’s what I did to-day reading your comments…the objects are as antique as I am…I wondered if anyone would notice my name on the napkin ring….I received these objects from great grand uncles and aunts I have never known…it was the fashion in their time (two generations before mine)…and in their time fashion did not change as quickly as it does now.And I am happy , as it are the only souvenirs from my birth and having been invited at King Arthur’s table!! Did he love boiled eggs!!!Thank you for favoriting these objects. Have a boiled egg with me and the King and a beaker of wine!
Gorgeous syill-life Gilberte.Beautiful lighting.
