    This is gorgeous. But I am wondering about the sticker on the one grape … why is it there and what does it read?

    Thanks Judi…the sticker indicates the name of these quality grapes
    hence the title:”La Bella Assai” and “Uva extra” meaning extra grapes.I left the sticker on purpose because on my comp you can read it all.Don’t know if you can read it here if you magnify.

    G’day Gilberte,

    Beautiful rich colours and gorgeous light really make this fine still life stand out.
    I do feel though that you could get rid of two things:
    1. 3/4 of the top, and
    2. The label on the grape, that I think really detracts from the quality of the work.
    A nice arrangement, good depth of field and good focus round off an otherwise excellent piece of work.

    Thank you Dennis for the good review of my work and favoriting it.
    I cropped the top 3/4 and got rid of the label.
    I only left the label because it justified the title and I could read it so clearly on my monitor.That’s my little funny side of course.I better be serious in future!.
    I had hesitated about the cropping only because the shape of the picture changes.From a square one you get a rectangular one
    It’s always nice to have someone (with a fresh eye) to look at your photos.When I have worked a certain time on it, I don’t know anymore whether it’s good or not.thanks so much Dennis
