Awe, that’s so sad. Good thing you recorded it in all it’s glory before the storm.
What a lovely view you have.

  • Gilberte replied

When it are all black branches, we wait for the snow to make another photo…my own avenue is all pink in spring with japanese cherry tree blossoms.

Most wonderful, Gilberte. Excellent low point of view, showing some grassy strip with fallen leaves on instead of a strip of asphalt (I presume). Brilliant, I have never thought of that…..
    Wonderful colours and lighting.

  • Gilberte replied

Hello Kofoed..how are you?...you make a good analysis of my picture…indeed if I had taken it higher you would have seen the asfalt all parked cars ruining the view. The grassy strip is in fact the upper side of my hedge. The tree in front will be pink in spring and the others green.Good evening Kofoed

Hello Gilberte, thank you, I’m fine. Hope the same for you.
There you go! You had me fooled with your hedgerow, it looks as if it was shot from low down. Still, it’s a most genious way to hide asphalt and cars…
Good evening to you also, I’m about to hit the sack. I’m looking forward to my retirement, then I can sit up all night looking at all those beautiful photo’s here.

  • Gilberte replied

I’m fine too Kofoed thank you.If I had taken it low down I would have needed a crane to get me up again.the time I was first in gymnastic is loooooooong past.and you are much too young to think of retirement…you could be my son!!

A wonderful celebration of color and light. You could have fooled me – I thought you were on your stomach.

  • Gilberte replied

thanks Dave…if this hedge had been grass, you would have seen the trunc of the tree in front. Now you only see the crown
