The photo was taken in Favela da Rocinha, the largest in the area. Rochina is characterised by Irregular, random, self-constructed houses with tijolos (bricks in portuguese) symbolizes the most what meets the eye at the favelas.

The title was taken from the movie Cidade de Deus (City of God), 2002.
