Perfection, Ghelly! Silhouetted candids are tough to do well but you’ve nailed it here. Everything here just works .. the placement of subject, the placement of the “hotspot’’ of your lighting, the curving oblique line of the shadow/subject/wet footprints .. well done!

This is pretty impressive. I think photography is at it weakest when it slavishly follows “realism”. When you try to play with that element of “real” and the intersection of reality and a vision, at least for me . . . things happen. I don’t hand out compliments often but I think this good.
