Love your graphic style and use of clever typography – and wonderful subject matter too!

  • Soxy Fleming! replied

thanks again! Typography in art is something I need to look at more…I worked in graphic design doing a lot of signage and exhibition graphics….it’s a new thought to take it away from that and make it art. This series really let me go a bit eccentric. Sort of took over and lived its own life! I was very pleased with how these scanned and printed, they came up beautifully as cards and posters

the original of this I sent to the lucky Zolton for Christmas and the originals of a few others went off around the globe to different people as well.

Not even in the shop of the Vienna Opera it’s possible to find such nice calendars for music lovers :-o Ever tried to contact one of those publishers related to the music world? I find them sooo nice AND so original.

  • Soxy Fleming! replied 5 days ago

thank you for the encouragement! I haven’t done my best at marketing these yet…I sell a few cards and I’ve had some printed as A4 and A3 posters…I’ll see what I can do.. : )

  • Soxy Fleming! replied 5 days ago

did you see these ones ?

Now I’ve seen them. They are originals, therefore a bit more difficult to sell, even if they surely look great on the wall. But this calender is perfect for print images. Have you ever seen the kinky stuff they sell at piano shops? Umbrellas with music notes, unoriginal mugs (if you’re lucky). I think many music lovers would buy this calender. It is much nicer than most music merchandising products.

I do agree with 123 picaparet. your calender is clean and fresh. Surprising!!!
