I truly love the deep warm colours of Autumn…..

This photograph was taken on an early morning wander through the magical land of Savernake Forest in Wiltshire, England. There was an early morning mist that slowly lifted as the sun shone through the canopy of the trees, revealing the most mystical setting.

This was one of those moments where I simply had to press the trigger on the camera, mother nature did all the hard work…....

    Thank you Chris :o) This is just the perfect time of year for being in a forest. The colours are just starting to turn. I always find that early in the morning everything feels magical.

    I think it’s interesting to see the type of tree’s and landscape in other countries because it differs so much from mine (well even travelling to different areas of the state let alone the country yields a different landscape). Beautifully shot as always! Looks like the perfect climbing tree

    I agree, we kinda get complacent with what we have around us because we see it every day. I always love watching films of the USA and looking at the trees… it is just so different from what we have here. Thank you for your lovely comment SMV ;o)

    Haha, do I hear some little trace of chauvinism there? LOL – But … seeing the pick you may well be right… I have spent a few summer weeks in England, and was all in love with the forests there too… They must be even more beautiful in Autumn…
    Still… great photographer to be able to capture that! ;)
