Here’s an Australian White Ibis (Threskiornis molucca) in flight.

These guys are in abundance here in Brisbane, i’m not sure about elsewhere, but they are considered pests in quite a lot of areas.

You can often see “DON’T FEED THE IBIS” signs around eating areas in and around the city in an attempt to not encourage them to hang around and hassle people while they’re eating.

I still like them though.. interesting, dorky looking birds. They can usually be seen flying in large numbers in the morning and evenings.

I attempted many an Ibis inflight shot before finally getting this one. Persistance was the key in this case..
