Rays over the Hills by Gethin
While in Nepal recently, i visited a place called Nagarkot, which is renown for its views of the Himalayas. i got up early for sunrise in hopes of a clear day with panoramic views out to the Himalayas. Unfortunately, it wasn’t to be, and the clouds were in to stay..
However, it let me get this shot of the suns rays shining through the clouds to the hills below.
You have to work with what you’ve got, and sometimes, that’s not so bad.

thanks everyone! this view from about 3000 meters up was fantastic, and i can’t imagine what it would be like on a clear day. i’m glad the pic came out, at least as a reminder to myself..
