Artist's Description

Some folk search for riches
While others seek fortune or fame
Forever rushing and pushing
Just to stay ahead of the game
Power drives some people pure daft
They hunt it down like dogs in a pack
Wasting their lives with all this seeking
A sad life they cannot get back
Just climb the steeps slopes of Donegal
Rest a while when you get to the top
See the glory that lays there before you
You’ll see all of your racing must stop
Heather brown and barren below you
Blue Atlantic that washes the shore
A rainbow that kisses the mountain
A sign for you to do no more
Money and fame may desert you
And power you just get from the grid
Sure with beauty like this around you
Do you need a few more quid
You have wealth that rich men do yearn for
With good health and someone who cares
Be happy with the cards life has dealt you
Let the rich rats run back to their lairs
