OMG what an afternoon we had over here in Perth! Around 4:00 pm a storm came in and unleashed its wrath! The sky turned to night and it downpoured rain with hail the size of golf balls. High winds and flash floods resulted due to the sheer amount of water that fell from the sky. I managed to jump on the train and headed home to the Northern suburbs.. we got about half way there when the next front came in… I have never been on a train that has swayed because of the wind! the driver had to slow down and we made it home. The trains were all delayed after this and my daughter got stuck in the train somewhere near Perth. I waited in the car park in Joondalup to pick her up. The skys started to break apart and the setting sun shown through resulting in this amazing orange hue to the sky. Once again I had my camera in the boot of the car….
