I was born and raise in Texas, the middle sister of seven siblings. Our parents encouraged us to express ourselves, and as far back as I can remember I was always fascinated with art. Whether it was coloring in a color book, to painting murals on a wall, I tend to always have an art tool in my hand. I have worked in several mediums, including acrylic on canvas, wood and glass, ink and watercolor, to paper and CGI. My influences streams from many areas, from the art of surrealists to realism. I am fascinated by the human emotions and natural scenery. In my works, I am trying to capture a moment in a characters life and evoke their emotions, and capture a natural scene with surrealism feel. The number one expression, to me, seems to be the human emotions splashed across someone’s face. We tend to not truly see the beauty of expression that all of us use daily. Whether it is a baby crying or two lovers fighting, expression is all around us. Lately, in my paintings I have removed or minus color altogether except for black and white, to give my paintings the emotions they are expressing, although this is only with my human emotional series. My natural scenery series show vibrant colors through surrealism creations.
I currently reside in Sherman and am attending South Eastern Oklahoma State University for studio art. I am also taking classes in computer graphics, photography and printmaking. I have been a member of the Sherman art league and VACO for two years now and was a member of the Delta Phi Delta at GCC. I first started freelancing in college. I created character design, single logo illustrations and web designs, greeting cards, and personal memorable paintings of loved ones for my cliental. After attending Grayson County College I received my first corporate client who is MTGatFQ I designed the web-design for their internet page and also created their business cards, brochure, and store logo.

I try to expanding the knowledge I learn through photography and Photoshop techniques by experimentation to help me advance in my paintings, as well as my, drawings. I started as a cartoon artist and now tends to produce works in graphic/ realist genre. I love to use mix styles, media and technique without restriction. The canvas is my palette for expression.

I am interested in becoming a professor for a university someday, teaching the techniques that I have learned over the years but never giving up, painting and design.
I plans to keep working freelance while in school to help me with finances and to receive the recognition of a fine artist.
