Something new I have been working on….Í love the rawness and beauty of old corrugated iron. Living in the country, I see it strewn everywhere and I swear no two pieces are the same LOL!, but when I came to start my current series, I noticed the beautiful colours and textures of it that appear after years of lashing rain and beating sun. This particular photo was taken near the Barossa Valley of an old shed with graffiti tags. I thought it would be interesting to imbibe it with some beautiful artwork of another era. The Mona Lisa by Leonardo was taken by myself as part of a public art project in Canberra some years ago.

indeed it’s rather fun even if it’s only for a while…. art on the street that affects lots of actual people is more powerful than state sponsered art by an powerful elite that affects sod all people in my opinion…. this is fabulous… I love it…. :)

Thanks Paul. Previous reply was a little OTT, though I would add true, but hate to use it now.

Really cool creation. I often paint on the walls of my factory but not with your level of expertise.

  • Gerijuliaj replied

Thanks so much Tony for your reply. I wish I had painted it! Unfortunately it is not so…I just put the two together with my deft hand, photoshop and imagination!
