The Shore at Cavendish, PEI by

When I was growing up, I was, like many young girls around the world, a fan of Lucy Maud Montgomery’s works, and especially of Anne of Green Gables. Anne of Green Gables is set in Cavendish, a town in the east coast province of Prince Edward Island. At that time, I could only imagine what Prince Edward Island might look like, since I lived many hundreds of miles away in the inland province of Quebec. I have since visited Prince Edward Isalnd on 3 occasions, but only on the most recent one, about 2 years ago, did I get to see Cavendish. The sea coast with its red earth shoreline is quite beautiful.

I’m a photographer living in Toronto, ON, Canada. I enjoy photographing the architecture, street life, plants and water fowl in my home city. I also love travel photography and capturing reflections on all possible reflective surfaces.
