I shot this photo in Venice on one of my visits. To me, Venice is the ultimate photographer’s paradise. I re-edited the photo recently to give it a more painterly feel.
I’m a photographer living in Toronto, ON, Canada. I enjoy photographing the architecture, street life, plants and water fowl in my home city. I also love travel photography and capturing reflections on all possible reflective surfaces.

Thank you very much, Mel! I really appreciate it. I hope you do get to Venice. I think you`d love it. Being there is almost like being in a very elaborate movie set—only it`s all real! And the hisrorical and literary landmarks are everywhere! I`d absolutely love to go there at Carnival time some day. I doubt I`ll ever actually be able to do that, but I`m very grateful for having had the privilege of visiting the city 4 times.
