Skating at Toronto's Harbourfront by

In winter, the large reflecting pond at York Quay on Toronto, Ontario, Canada’s Harbourfront is transformed into the largest and most atmospheric skating rink in the city. It’s especially photogenic when the sun is going down and the artificial lights are just being turned on. Yes, that’s Lake Ontario we can see just to the front of the horizon.

I’m a photographer living in Toronto, ON, Canada. I enjoy photographing the architecture, street life, plants and water fowl in my home city. I also love travel photography and capturing reflections on all possible reflective surfaces.
