I am a self taught photographer with a passion for black & white phography.
I have a broad canvas, ranging from street photography to landscapes.
My images are mainly aspects of Ireland, using light and shadow, shape and tone to create an emotional resonance for the viewer.
My main phographic influences are Henri Cartier Bresson, Josef Koudelka, Ralph Gibson, Ansel Adams, John Blake, Edward Weston … and many more.
Over the years, I have attended workshops by esteemed photographers Eamonn McCann, John Blakemore, Thomas Joshua Cooper and Chris Killip.
My images are my artistic expression and I hope you enjoy them.
