Photography for me is a way of trying to make sense of the world, or at least to slow down and look at things a little more closely.
What a great shot this is Georgie are they on a walk way with gaps in to look down below?I would stand their for ages watching the world go by but may need a bench to rest these old legs on lol
Thanks Kaz, they’re at a high viewing platform on the High Line, which used to be a goods train line but is now a park and walking trail (with great views due to its elevation). There are plenty of seats too so I’m sure you’d enjoy it!

Thanks Ellen, it’s a great spot to watch the world go by!
Great shot,great view!
Delighted you think so Kelvin!
Cheers Sylvia :)
I envy you the opportunity to walk the High Line. An excellent shot
If you can bear the flights they have lifts to the top Fred! Glad you can at least see the view vicariously!
This is cool. Excellent.
Thanks a million Joy :)
what a great shot G! Dramatic, beautifully composed and full of interest. Top shelf (and a fav!)
Wow what a wonderful response, thanks H!
Very NY indeed!!
Thanks for taking a look C :)
Amazing shot.Looks like they are standing on the ledge of a big window. Scary for me,I don’t like heights : )Fabulous framing.
Actually Pat – they are! To the side of the main walkway is a series of steps leading down to this big viewing area where nothing stands between you and the road below but the window!
What Harry said. Super shot!!
Thanks M :D
