Photography for me is a way of trying to make sense of the world, or at least to slow down and look at things a little more closely. I love sharing what I’ve seen and hearing how others interpret it.

It is called Hope
Yes I think so – but she did catch the tram!

Great capture Georgie, I do not think I would be running on a wet track with a tram waiting to move off in my direction.
Thanks Kaz – the tram was actually heading away from her but I wouldn’t have been running on that wet surface either!

thank you so much Ellen :)

Great shot….love that the woman is wearing a red coat chasing the bright yellow tram…the two main components of the story really stand out with great reflections form the rain!
Thanks Carol, I sure was lucky that it was one of the brightest trams we have in Melbourne (and that she was wearing that splendid red coat)!

The beauty of a rain-slicked street and the story you captured—great shot, G! Love the dominant primary hues.
Thanks Jan! I saw her begin to run from my left and just turned and clicked as she shot past – very glad it worked out okay :)
