A rather handsome emu resident of Lavandula Lavender Farm.
The emu is, of course, flightless and the largest bird native to Australia.

Photography for me is a way of trying to make sense of the world, or at least to slow down and look at things a little more closely.

Such odd looking creatures. Great capture Georgie!! Lavendula makes an awesome range of toiletries. Got all their stuff here in Tassie :-)
Odd, yes, but they have rather beautiful eyes, I think. Hope all’s going well in Tassie Mia, and I’m glad to know Lavandula get their products out there, they seem really lovely and I’m guessing they’re cruelty free.
Thanks so much Joy :D
