Interstellar Invertebrate by

Our flamboyant friend the “Brown Sea Nettle”, “Pacific Sea Nettle” or “West Coast Sea Nettle” chrysaora fuscescens, performing for the camera, or just floating around gracefully because it rather likes it and it’s still waiting for the paper to be delivered so there’s not much else to do…

It’s also ready for the space programme should anyone need a jellyfish in a jar (on Jupiter).

About Georgie Hart

Photography for me is a way of trying to make sense of the world, or at least to slow down and look at things a little more closely. I love sharing and discussing what is seen.

Nature is wonderful and your photography too.

  • Thanks so much Dani, I went to the aquarium last Sunday with the express purpose of photographing jellyfish, but because of the lights, reflections and floating stuff I didn’t know if I had anything I could salvage. Really glad you like this one!

This is wonderful Georgie, and the lights, reflections and floating stuff gives it a much more exciting context than boring old seaweed would.

  • Thanks very much Rob, great to know you like this one!
