Out for a ‘Sunday drive’ I was stopped in my tracks by this wonderfully twisted tree. After spotting and photographing a couple of galahs I continued on, returning to catch the tree in the twilight.

My folio also contains a dawn sister image (see also below) from my return several months later.

The more I look at this, the more I see an old man with a bad back…
