Yay!!! I'm online again!!!

Wow… that was a long 3 and a half days… no internet apart from my iphone. I’m going to have soooo many emails! Good thing I only have about 10 or 20 each day. I can only imagine how long it would take if I had 100 a day!!! Now I just have to get the phone working.

If you’re not on that fun but time consuming virtual world, namely facebook, you may not know that I’ve moved house. A few reasons, but the most positive reason is for us to gain lots and lots of space… well, at least a separate studio (most would probably call it an office as its my workspace, but that sounds too much like work!!). We also gained a huge backyard (and front yard), big beautiful verandah, ready to go veggie plots, shed (everyone should have one of those) and a rumpus!!! The rumpus (storeroom (only for now), spare room, play room, outhouse, teen retreat… whatever its name will end up being) isn’t huge, but its big enough for a sofa bed, cupboard and space to play with trainsets, car track, lego (I got a gorgeous VW Beetle for Christmas from my brother and now I’ve even got space (not time… that’ll come) to create it!) and maybe even a desk/table for jigsaw puzzles… just a few essentials of life! Yes, Bill… there’s photos… here you go… just a couple of snapshots!

Our front yard. Apparently, so the agent says, its Winter grass and will be beautiful and green when the hot weather ends and we get rain. Whatever, I say… it’ll be fine. I’d hardly be out the front anyway. Apart from when gazing out to sea from my front steps!!

The backyard. No grass, it was neglected so its all balded out. I’ve been told a few runners of some sort of grass (couch?) will help green it up. I should have written the name down, but its such a well known grass I didn’t think I’d forget!! At least its huge and has lots going for it.

My beautiful verandah… it speaks for itself. Makes up for all the traffic noise of living in the suburbs.

See… life is soooo hard!! Not. Apart from money, but it’s only that. Lifestyle is far more important I think, and as long as I have enough (on time… long story, not for now) to pay the bills I’m happy!

Speaking of lifestyle and happiness… Today is the deadline for any drawing to be done for Its a wonderful life by Karin. If you draw for any reason at all, go have a look and then go draw your heart out to get your entry in by the end of today! Sadly, I’ve got to catch up with work, so won’t be able to enter… I’ll finish what I started sometime soon (along with that painting I said ages ago I’d do… along with everything else on my todo list…. how on earth people get bored is beyond me!!!).

So that’s it for now… I’m still trying to manage my time to fit everything in and once I’m settled, unpacked, got work sent off to the printers and created this month’s ATCs, I’ll get back to juggling properly. Luckily, the awesomely inspiring Longest Illustration in the world isn’t up to me yet! Phew!
