Our local beach, barely five minutes walk from my new home in the aged care facility. Yanchep Lagoon is on the Indian Ocean some 55 kms north of Perth, Western Australia. When I took this the tide was still coming in but as it starts to ebb it becomes quite possible to walk around that headland without getting your feet wet. Come winter and quite a lot of the sand gets washed away by the stronger winter tides, exposing a layer of very sharp rocky outcrops, so not many people venture to this end of the beach then,
I took this with my Sony A77, 16-80 Carl Zeiss lens with nd8 filter, aperture priority (f8). Unlike some people I did not have a Stealth setting!!!!
