This was the scene that confronted me when I opened my eyes each morning at the Seven Spirit Eco Wilderness resort on Cape Cobourg, at the very top of Australia’s tropical Top End. And it seems that every chalet – and they were quite a distance apart – was positioned to enjoy a similar view. Definitely worth waking up for. I had to get up in the middle of one night and the moon was shining across the bay and I so totally entranced by what to me was a truly tropical scene that I completely forgot why I had got up in the first place! ( I soon remembered though! LOL)
On this subject our en suites were actually some 30+ metres from our chalets and, although totally private, were open air. To get there meant a walk on a brick paved path through bushland in which one could hear a lot of rustling noises! No wonder the resort supplied torches in every chalet! LOL
This is known as being in the wilderness folks!
