The Coal River makes a wonderfully colourful scene as it comes out from beneath the famous old bridge (on which I am standing to take this shot). I love this scene – to me it perfectly illustrates the calmness and serenity of this most delightful country village which is actually within easy daily commuting distance of Hobart – a journey that many, many people seem to take in their stride.
Post processing of this photo was done in Dynamic Photo HDR (to bring out the colours) and softened down somewhat in CS3
