A much photographed east Tasmanian icon not far from the delightful town of Swansea. We were on our way to Freycinet for a couple of nights.
bridges, tasmania, icons
You must have been on the same spot as I was when taken this pic. Great shot Peter. Some weird things you come across.
I THOUGHT that spot of ground seemed well trodden! LOL We spent about half an hour here and it was quite fascinating. Many thanks for the visit and great comment.RegardsPeter
This bridge is on my hit list when I next return to Tassie, ripper shot mate.
Hi Mark and very many thanks. I must confess I hadn’t even heard of it until our coach driver started talking about it and saying it was “just up the road”. (At this a groan went up because we had quickly come to realise that his idea of “just up the road” was on a par with his short cuts!)All the bestPeter
Geez Mate. It’s a bit rough. LOL
It is, isn’t it? You have to get right up close though to appreciate just HOW rough it really is!
Now that’s different Peter – would certainly stop you climbing on the bridge ! Great capture !
It IS different isn’t it. It’s quite an icon, too, but I had never heard of it before. Thanks very much Roy.CheersPeter
