This is more or less the start of our new boardwalk that goes over the dunes and down to the ocean at Yanchep, Western Australia. First stop is the lookout, seen here, and then it’s down lots of steps, followed by 100 metres or so of crushed limestone path to the beach. Very pleasant, albeit quite an expensive operation. According to our local paper this boardwalk, combined with another, slightly shorter one 250 metres or so to the south, cost around the one million dollar mark. But so far everyone I’ve spoken to reckons it is our money very well spent.
Sony A55V, 11-18 lens with nd8 filter, aperture priority, hand held. I subsequently cropped it quite considerably which makes the lookout seem nearer than it really is.
