Lovely photo, not so lovely heat! I remember WA heat well. Our temps were 20 xmas day, pouring rain. The sun has finally come out. For a while at least.
Thanks very much Hillie and good to hear from you again. I hope you are not getting all that REALLY bad weather we are seeing on our TV screens! Please take care

Oh gosh could we do with some of that heat here at the moment, It rained last night so it has finally shifted some of the snow, let’s hope it’s the last we see of it . I can’t ever remember it being so cold here .
Beautiful shot and light. x
Hi Irene and very many thanks for this visit and comment. Believe me, 40 degrees can be rather stifling and wearing, especially when the nights don’t drop down much lower than 25 which has been the case lately. There’s a limit to how many clothes one can take off you know! LOL
Look after yourself

Nice one Peter. Sure has been hot, but much better today.
Thanks very much Susan. I would have been worse for you than us – at least we do get a bit of early relief from the breeze most days.
Have a great 2011 and take care

Beautiful capture peter I was up there earlier this year did not get a shot as good as that.
Many thanks Jillian. If you were here earlier in the year you must have passed within a couple of hundred metres of our house!
Best wishes for 2011

Instant fave Peter. Love those sundown tones. Absolutely gorgeous. Much cooler today thank goodness.
A fave! WOW, thanks very much Elaine. I took about 35 photos that evening and it was interesting to see how the light gradually changed.
Look after yourself and all best wishes for the coming year.

Great beach shot, Peter. As you say, the light is superb.
Hi Steve and very many thanks mate. An hour before this there was quite a bit of cloud about and I thought for sure there would be a blazing sunset but, as always seems to happen to me, almost all that cloud had vanished by the time I got down there! Murphy’s Law I guess!
All the best

A beautiful shot Pete. I love the light. A fav for me.
Thanks heaps Al, also for the fave. You would have been in your element down there with that light – just a shame the sunset itself wasn’t too crash hot!
